The Bigg Boxx holds on average 12 to 16 full uniforms. This varies with uniform style, accessories, hangers, garment bags, etc. The picture at right shows 20 full military tunics and trousers (all wool, one steel hanger for each jacket and pant, no garment bags). These are packed too tight for regular use, but it gives you an idea of the space available.

To check capacity with your uniforms, measure 30" on a closet bar (just under the actual bar length in the Bigg Boxx) and hang your uniforms in that space. Remember to keep the uniforms "comfortably compressed" during your test and use simple steel hangers as plastic and wood take up unnecessary space.

There is also room below a standard size garment bag in the bottom of the box, to place shoes or other small items, further extending the capacity of the Bigg Boxx.

Whether your choir uses costumes or robes, the Bigg Boxx is ready for the trip. If you use full length robes, you can prepare your robes for travel by tucking the hemmed end of the robe up inside the body of the robe and attach the hemmed end to the crosspiece of the hanger with pins.

To check capacity with your robes or costumes, use the same procedure as described above.

Many bands have suggested this modular way to suit up fast and efficiently at a performance location. Assign a group of band members to each Bigg Boxx -- as shown at right with 12 uniforms, 12 hat boxes and 12 pairs of shoes all in the same Bigg Boxx. Everything they need is located in one place and makes performance prep a snap.

Color guard uniforms, rifles, sabers and small instrument cases (just to name a few) are common storage and organizational uses for the Bigg Boxx. The interior of the Bigg Boxx is a wide-open space of almost 24 cubic feet, so instead of looking for all of your flute/clarinet or hat cases under the bus or on the baggage carousel (and hoping they didn't pop open spilling their contents), just look for one Bigg Boxx and everything will be safe inside.

The Bigg Boxx is also great for holding loose hat boxes. How many will depend on the particular style of hat box that you use. The photo at the right shows 27 ashley style hat boxes loaded into one Bigg Boxx.

Because the Bigg Boxx is available in many colors, ordering multiple colors not only shows school spirit, it allows you to organize the containers' contents by color. You can divide boxes by color according to section, grade, or any other method you choose.

Not enough room? Go vertical. The Bigg Boxx is easily stackable to make it even more useful for creating extra space. Stack two high and turn that storage room into another office or at least a workable storage room.
